MHR Intake Horns are the crowning achievement of the already very comprehensive Malossi kit for TMAX 530.

Engines are designed by humans, and perhaps that's why they resemble us in some ways. Breathing, in fact, is one of the most important aspects of athletic activity, so, conversely, proper air intake in an engine is a fundamental point to focus on.

Malossi has designed the MHR Intake Horns from scratch, the pair of velocity stacks intended for the Yamaha TMAX 530 to guarantee the best possible performance when combined with the 560 twin-cylinder engine and the complete kit available for this maxi-scooter, fitting perfectly onto the original flaps and maintaining the original filter box.

MHR Intake Horns are machined from a single block of high-quality ergal, and their diameter has been designed to ensure optimal fuel flow by minimizing any surface roughness. Through meticulous simulations using cutting-edge software, the length has been calculated to guarantee excellent fluid dynamics and increased thrust at mid and high RPMs, where the test bench recorded a power increase of two horsepower.

They attach to the original filter box using a threaded fitting and are sealed with an O-ring. Very easy to install, they are designed to withstand corrosion and moisture, which are present inside the intake system, for a lifetime thanks to their anodized finish. Once installed, the two parts will fit together perfectly, minimizing surface roughness.

The final touch is the red finish and the laser-engraved Malossi logo, like a signature. Because beauty matters too!
