More power for the TMAX 530

The most efficient engines require an adequate and always constant fuel supply. Increasing the performance of the TMAX, using the exhaustive Malossi catalog, made it essential to create a specific throttle body capable of guaranteeing the essential performance for the series unit.

Made of Ergal 7975-T6 and black anodized, the MHR throttle body has been designed specifically to obtain maximum performance in combination with the Malossi 560cc twin-cylinder kit and with the Double PowerCam, providing the right suction to the engine in this configuration.

The internal diameter of the throttle body widens to 38 mm, while its length remains identical to the original so that it can be installed without difficulty in its standard positioning between the cylinder head and the airbox.

Its internal conduits are cylindrical against the horns, gradually becoming oval in correspondence with the butterfly valve. Thanks to this variation of shape inside, the fresh gases are pushed more energetically into the cylinder head which, presenting two suction valves, requires a considerable width, offered by the oval section, which continues until the end of the collector .

The two manifolds supplied with the kit are increased and can be installed only on a shaped cylinder head without requiring any other modifications. The specific horns for the MHR throttle body are calculated and improved to obtain maximum efficiency from the oval sections of the bodies, exploiting the perfect harmonization of the entire duct.
