More power for the TMAX 530

The most powerful engines require an adequate and always consistent fuel supply. Increasing the performance of the TMAX, using the comprehensive Malossi catalog, made it essential to create a specific throttle body capable of ensuring the necessary performance for the stock unit.

Made from Ergal 7975-T6 and anodized black, the MHR throttle body was specifically designed to achieve maximum efficiency in combination with the Malossi 560cc twin-cylinder kit and the Double PowerCam, providing the right intake to the engine in this setup.

The internal diameter of the throttle body expands up to 38 mm, while its length remains identical to the original to allow easy installation in its stock position between the cylinder head and the airbox.

Its internal passages are cylindrical adjacent to the velocity stacks, gradually becoming oval at the throttle valve. Thanks to this shape variation inside, fresh gases are pushed more forcefully into the cylinder head, which, featuring two intake valves, requires a considerable width, provided by the oval section that continues to the end of the manifold.

The two manifolds supplied with the kit are enlarged and can only be installed on a machined cylinder head without requiring any other modifications. The specific velocity stacks for the MHR throttle body are calculated and optimized to achieve maximum efficiency of the oval sections of the bodies, exploiting the perfect harmonization of the entire passage.
